About the Honolulu Symphony Musicians
As residents of Hawai‘i, the Musicians of the Honolulu Symphony contribute to the artistic, educational, and economic health of the community. In turn, the Musicians are inspired by the beauty and therich culture and traditions of the Islands.
Having studied at many of the top universities and conservatories around the world, the Musicians bring a wealth of training and musical experiences to Hawai‘i. Their professionalism and dedication extends well beyond their full-time work with the Honolulu Symphony, reaching into the community through extensive teaching and numerous performances of many other types of music.
The Musicians have chosen to devote themselves to bringing great music to the people of Hawai‘i, and feel deeply appreciative of the continuing support they receive from the community. The Musicians remain committed to strengthening that bond and to working with the community to enhance the quality of life in the Islands.
